The Labour Room is equipped with all necessary equipments and supplies that the laboring patient may require. Athena has two fully equipped labour cum delivery rooms.

Acute and follow up visits for problems are available on a same day basis with flexible scheduling
Private and small group Lactation Consultations can be arranged through the Paediatric group. This valuable service can be utilized either for prenatal education or for help with lactation issues after delivery.
Hospital has a Special Care Nursery and pediatric beds on a well designed, attractive, comfortable family unit where parents may stay with their children around the clock and where the pediatric nursing staff is specifically trained to care for sick children and adolescents.
Routine and special immunizations are given. Pre-immunization counseling and informational brochures are provided to assure complete awareness of the diseases. Ample time is scheduled for questions on these issues.
In-house Laboratory and X-Ray services (performed by our licensed technicians) allow us to obtain rapid and accurate diagnostic testing. Safety, cleanliness and quality is supervised and maintained by round the clock housekeeping service department.
Complete Pulmonary Function testing, respiratory inhalation therapy and transcutaneous oxygen monitoring are available to assist in the management of cardiac and pulmonary diseases.
We are equipped to diagnose, x-ray and stabilized orthopedic injuries. Those injuries require suturing and casting are treated by qualified specialists.
Beginning at the age 3 years, all children routinely undergo hearing and vision screening at yearly examinations. There is no fee for this service.
Our unit is equipped with modern ear pressure technology to assist in the management of otitis media.
Several different methods of wart ablation are available for those with functionally impairing lesions.
