The Intensive Care Unit at Athena Hospital is an eight-bed unit with ventilations providing care for hundreds of critically ill patients per year.
We have a wide range of patients, with a large proportion of emergency admissions. We strive to establish and maintain optimal management of the critically ill patient with a multi-disciplinary approach.
All staff are committed to developing excellence in all services through continuous quality improvement, the development and maintenance of high ethical standards, communication and accountability for efficiency and effectiveness.
Intensivists, doctors who specialize in critical care medicine, are available to treat patients in the ICU.
ICU visiting hours : 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.
